In Seterris, you will choose an adventurer from one of the classes below. This adventurer will come with a unique ability to help you get more resources or card draw to power through the early turns. On top of that, each adventurer comes with a special way to Loot, or to get new cards from the adventure deck. These cards will be your primary way of ending the game in most strategies, as they are bigger and better than the cards you will put into your deck. Speaking of, as well as an adventurer, you will get a starting deck of 11 cards to start your adventure, consisting of Units, Spells, Supplies, Runes, and Traps. Don't worry, it may seem intimidating at first but we'll make sure you figure it out. By guiding your units and slinging your spells, I'm sure there's no way you can lose! So come on! Grab a class and let's get adventuring!
Elementalist
The class that utilizes elemental and natural magics to reshape the world around them. By combining earth, water, and fire, these mages have the power to summon golems and other things, heal, or pack a punch when needed. Anyone with an Elementalist’s spark can learn to wield one or more elements, and these folks come from all walks of life.
Hunter
Those who rely on nature to survive. They excel at setting traps, hunting beasts, gathering plants, and anything else that nature can provide to them. Usually they will be groups of a single hunter and their beast friends but can certainly hunt together as well. Magic is hard to attain for them.
Noble
The class that tries to keep a “real” civilization of Ancient Times in today’s world. They work in a communist-esq way, where everyone works to keep their entire civilization alive, either making things, getting food, or defending their land. There are few tribes large enough to function in this way and are often corrupt. Magical use is usually limited but is optional.
Warlord
The class that relies on pure strength and wars to get more supplies to feed themselves. Generally looked at as the “bad guy” by a lot of people (especially those who lost their people to Warlords). Not one unified group; many different groups of warlords in the world. They rarely or never use magic.
Lich
The undead magic class. This class uses blood magic, necromancy, and demonic magics, all of which can cost a part of your soul in return for power. Currently they are all led by Maive Rockenhide, a particular group of liches who will stop at nothing to achieve greatness, with the ultimate goal of uniting the world together under her sole rule. Dark magics are often seen with this class.
Bard
The class that uses music, and friendship. This music can be used to buff allies, deafen enemies, or do some crazy magical thing. Bards are generally happy and look to fight in big groups and do not settle down, leading to them doing a lot of exploring of the world. Anyone can really be a bard. Magic is highly encouraged to empower allies but is not necessary.
Sorcerer
The class that uses classic arcane magics. This magic is very pure, very simple, and in the right hands, very powerful. They work through an apprentice-master situation, and many sorcerers are out roaming the world but many have connections to a centralized arcane trading post, think tower of Babel. Magic is a necessity.
